About KEEODY
Our Beginnings
This newly-formed collaboration of giftings is the brainchild of international artists and creative couple, Keelah Jackson-Harris and Jody Harris (lending to the moniker "Keeody"). Keeody Art openly offers art, love and soul to the public in the form of inspired and original mixed-media compositions.
Creative Backgrounds and Training
Jody Harris is an acclaimed poet, visual artist and art historian with a B.F.A. in Illustration from the Atlanta College of Art, B.A. in Studio Art and a M.A. in Sculpture from Georgia State University; he has professionally created groundbreaking and texture-rich pieces for well over twenty years. Keelah Harris is an award-winning educator, writer, singer/songwriter and visual artist with a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a M.S. in Education from the University of Tennessee Knoxville; she has been a mixed-media artist since childhood. The two artists use their diverse creative styles to complement each other in visual arts as well as in spoken word, singing, writing and life.

Upcoming Projects
The pair is currently curating an art exhibit within the Ed Johnson Memorial Dedication entitled VISUALS FOR THE VOICELESS. Please check out the "Events" section for details. They have had art exhibited many places and were honored as Chattanooga's 2020 Juneteenth artists sponsored by Festival of Black Arts and Ideas and EPB.
